Airtel Nigeria launched Airtel Outdoor Unit Smartbox (Airtel ODU) which it said will boost/improve customers’ home broadband experience. This is according to a statement issued by the company.
Nairabrands understands that the new home internet broadband booster by Airtel gives customers a wide array of choices. They can either choose the Unlimited Ultra Weekly, Unlimited Ultra Standard, Unlimited Ultra Diamond, or the Unlimited Ultra Platinum. Note that each of these packages comes with unlimited data, unlimited speed, and applicable Fair Usage Policy (FUP), the telco claimed.
Meanwhile, Airtel Nigeria’s Director of Home Broadband, Godfrey Efeurhobo, had assured customers that the telco is committed to “to offering best-in-class Internet experience for our customers and we are excited with the introduction of the Airtel ODU Smartbox as it goes the extra mile to ensure a flawless, seamless and robust Internet experience for telecoms consumers in Nigeria.”
Customers who purchase the Airtel ODU Smartbox can also subscribe to the telco’s ‘Unlimited Ultra Plans’, a wide range of HBB offering designed to ensure customers do not run out of data while enjoying superior broadband connectivity to the Internet.

- Unlimited Ultra weekly is priced at N5,000 and will last for 7 days, with a FUP of 30GB plus 1GB data daily after FUP.
- Unlimited Ultra Diamond costs N30, 000 and will last for 30 days and FUP of 210GB
- Unlimited Ultra Platinum goes for N60,000 only, even as customers will enjoy unlimited data for 30 days. As much as 550GB is available, plus 3GB for night use.
